True hip hop heads know just how long Tung Twista has been around. He was among the first Chicago rappers to put the city on the map. Later in his career, Twista formed an alliance with Roc-A-Fella Records.
Twista’s initial run, with Roc-A-Fella, came to an end, in 2000. At the time, Dame Dash wanted to sign Twista, but he would work with the label, again. By 2003, Kanye West was the face of the label, and he began working with Twista.
Recently, Twista stopped by the “Big Facts” podcast. In this interview, with DJ Scream and Big Bank, along with the rest of the crew, Twista spoke on Kanye West and his history with Roc-A-Fella. He also discussed Chicago, past beefs, upcoming work, and more.
