When he came out of prison last October, Turk had big plans. Days after his release from prison, Turk talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his plans to work with everyone in the game and rebuild relationships. After being out of circulation for the better part of a decade, there are a lot of changes to deal with.
Cash Money Records was on the brink of oblivion when Turk went to prison, but they were a force when he returned. Turk expressed interest in joining to YMCMB several times. The whole team showed up for his “It’s Hot” video shoot, but when his father died in New Orleans after being the victim of a hit-and-run, Turk had no support.
Having enough of playing it nice, Turk called out Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Mannie Fresh for not being there for him on Twitter. Now, Turk has taken things a step further with the release of a vlog speaking on the situation. Turk feels they should have offered to help with the funeral expenses and at least check in on him.
