Tupac scenes on “Death Row Chronicles” have fans on Twitter debating whether he and Biggie would still be alive if not for 1994 shooting, and if he was set up #DRChroniclesBET #DeathRowChronicles

To a certain degree, Tupac is the rapper every other rapper models themselves after. Even the likes of Jay-Z have admitted to being inspired by Tupac, despite past beefs. When telling a Death Row story, the story of Tupac has to be told.

Before signing to Death Row, Tupac was signed to Interscope Records, their parent label. After Interscope wanted to drop him, Suge Knight stepped in to sign Tupac. Their alliance began on the Above The Rim soundtrack, and after Suge helped him in prison, it was cemented.

Tupac’s story is being recounted on BET’s “Death Row Chronicles,” tonight. Even though the story has been told, nonstop, since 1996, each time it’s discussed, people get interested. The fans have debated about whether or not Pac was set up, his relationship with Biggie, and whether that moment led to their respective deaths.
