Though he has been hot on the New York hip hop scene for some time, it was not until recently that Troy Ave began gaining traction. Several mixtape rappers from New York suddenly find themselves basking in the spotlight. Troy Ave is among them and he is working with many of the biggest names in the game.
Recently, Troy Ave appeared on new mixtapes from both Pusha T and Fabolous, impressing the listeners on both projects. While Troy Ave is still releasing mixtapes, they are receiving mainstream attention. The mixtapes have continued picking up steam and now there is major attention on Troy Ave.
XclusivesZone.net has captured quite a bit of footage of Troy Ave. Already releasing performance clips, Troy Ave also gave XclusivesZone.net an interview. Troy Ave talked to them about his work with Fabolous and Pusha T, along with if he will sign with a major label. Regardless, Troy Ave has his debut album, New York City, in the works.
