Bringing back the feeling to New York hip hop is what Troy Ave openly talks about doing all the time. The past three years have seen Troy Ave overcome a lot to become the biggest thing coming out of New York. His run follows the emergences of such names as French Montana, A$AP Rocky, and Joey Bada$$.
Troy Ave is not only focused on getting his position in the game, he is also looking out for his BSB team. In this respect, Troy Ave is compared to 50 Cent by some, including himself. Even 50 Cent has acknowledged this and he gives support to him, as does Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks.
This morning, Troy Ave visited Power 105.1 to talk to “The Breakfast Club.” Those who have Revolt TV also saw Troy Ave with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. Here, he spoke on 50 Cent and G-Unit, then his own BSB movement, along with New York hip hop, XXL, and much more.
