In 2012, Trinidad James took the hip hop industry by storm with his single, “All Gold Everything.” The song ended up being the $2 million song, as Trinidad James signed to Def Jam for that amount. But, it has been a slow and steady decline for Trinidad James since then.

While Trinidad James had success with other records, he has yet to take over the game he once did. However, Trinidad James is a vocal member of hip hop who has to be heard. He took his opinion to CNN, debating the use of the N-word with Don Lemon.

Trinidad James stopped by Hot 97 and he talked to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. Picking up where he left off at CNN, Trinidad James spoke on his time with there Don Lemon and about the word. He then talked about the “Uptown Funk” remix he jumped on with Bruno Mars.
