With 2017 coming to a close, this year has been one of the best years for female rappers. As every recent year has gone, Nicki Minaj dominated. This year also saw Remy Ma come strong, along with the emergence of Cardi B, as Lil’ Kim forged a comeback.
Noticeably absent from this year’s lineup of female rappers is Trina. In a few weeks, she’ll get her time to shine, when “Love & Hip Hop Miami” premieres. There, she will reunite with Trick Daddy, also starring alongside Gunplay, among others.
Trina stopped by Hot 97, sitting down with Nessa. The two talked about her mother’s reaction to hearing “Nann” with Trick Daddy, for the first time. She also discussed Cardi B and “Love & Hip Hop Miami.”
