Ever since 2009, or so, Rick Ross has been the man from the Miami hip hop scene. But, it was Trick Daddy that ushered Miami into the mainstream hip hop world. Originally, the likes of Rick Ross and DJ Khaled were introduced with help from Trick Daddy.

However, Trick Daddy has kept himself out of the spotlight since the 2007-2008 period. During this time, ironically, Trick Daddy was rumored to be signing with G-Unit or Murder Inc. In the end, he made the decision to remain solo and do his own label.

Trick Daddy returned to the spotlight on “The Breakfast Club,” this morning. Sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, Trick Daddy elaborated on the “eat a booty” movement and the foods he does. In addition to this, he spoke on the Rick Ross/50 Cent situation, Miami, drugs, and homosexuality in rap, along with much more.
