Trey Songz’s Charges From Altercation With Police Officer Over Trey Allegedly Not Wearing Mask, During AFC Championship Game, Reportedly Not Filed Due To Insufficient Evidence [VIDEO]

Back in January, Trey Songz got into some legal issues at the AFC Championship game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs in KC. A police office approached Trey about supposedly not wearing a mask for COVID-19 protocols at Arrowhead Stadium and then, things turned physical between the two.

Trey ended up being hit with misdemeanor charges of trespassing and resisting arrest. Assaulting a police officer was also added and classified as a low-level felony. The R&B star has some very great news for him regarding this case now, though.

According to TMZ, The Prosecutor’s Office for Jackson County, MO, has dropped all charges. This is due to reported insufficient evidence. Trey’s team also initially said that they believed that the police officer had his own personal agenda against Trey and that’s why things escalated the way they did at the game.

Shortly after that incident and getting out of jail, Trey didn’t seem to be very bothered. He ended up posting a photo to Instagram of himself on a private jet with the caption, “Chiefs game was lit right?!”
