Trey Songz Sued For Battery After Allegedly Punching Bartender in May 2019 After Not Being Allowed To Sit on Bar Table During Cardi B Concert

Trey Songz is back into legal woes  and this time, it seems back to an incident from May 2019. This took place on May 9 at the Hollywood Palladium during a Cardi B concert sponsored by Fashion Nova.

There, the R&B star reportedly decided to sit on a bar table at the venue. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a male bartender told Trey that that wasn’t allowed and kept mentioning this. Trey soon had enough and decided to strike the bartender in the head.

At that point, Trey briefly looked at the other bartenders and continued watching the Cardi show as if nothing happened. Now, this bartender is suing for battery and damages. He claims that he’s suffered physical pain and emotional and psychological injuries.

Trae was in an altercation in January as well at the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City. He ended up throwing a lunch at a police officer after being confronted about allegedly not wearing his mask. Trey ended up being charged with misdemeanors in trespassing and resisting arrest along with assaulting a police officer, which is a low-grade felony. These ended up being dropped late last month through due to insufficient evidence, per TMZ.
