Those boys out of Philadelpha, the SKE Records crew that is, have been dominating the independent sector of the game. They have shown artists how to grind without having major backing. All of this has happened with them staying close to home in the city of Philadelphia, without venturing out too far.
With this, they have brought the masses to their city and made people pay attention to them. Philadelphia is a hip hop mecca and Trel Mack and Petter Jones are only two of the emerging artists out of the city. But, their movement is major and they are now beginning to give the fans what they want, live shows.
Trel Mack and Petter Jones are performing alongside Wiggz & Wooten and several other stars at Voltage in Philadelphia. This event will take place in only two days, on June 18. The show is sponsored by SKE Records and Homegrown Philly, two of the bigger movements in the city.
