Travis Scott performs at 2022 BBMAs
Over a week ago, it was revealed that Travis Scott would be performing at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. This comes after his controversial Astroworld Festival in Houston, last November. That event saw the concertgoers trample into each other, which resulted in 300 injuries, and 10 deaths.
Travis has slowly gained more performances though, this spring. He’s gotten bookings for the Primavera Sound Festival in South America, this November. Last weekend, Travis also performed at E11EVEN, in Miami. That was for the F1 Grand Prix afterparty.
Travis went on to perform at the BBMAs tonight, as he was introduced by Diddy and French Montana. Travis performed songs such as “Mafia” and “Lost Forever.” Following Travis’ performance, he was met with a loud applause, from the audience in Las Vegas.
With Travis returning, to such a big stage like the BBMAs, his “Utopia” album finally be on the way soon, as well. Travis was teasing this fifth studio album last year, up until the aftermath of Astroworld Fest. There is still no release date for Utopia though, as Travis hasn’t released an album since the chart-topping “Astroworld,” back in August 2018.
