Travis Scott Attempting to Get Astroworld Lawsuit Against Him Thrown Out, Claiming He Wasn’t Responsible For Deaths Or Injuries, at The Festival

It’s now been over a month, since Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival. That concert resulted in over 300 injuries, and 10 losing their lives, due to injuries sustained Over 275 lawsuits are on the table, and now the Houston rapper is fighting one of them.

According to TMZ, Travis is making it known that he wasn’t liable for the tragedies that unfolded, on November 5. He recently filed legal documents, where he denies claims by Jessie Garcia, who filed a lawsuit. Travis wants this to be dismissed with prejudice.

Travis also filed a “general denial,” as this is a civil suit where he can respond to allegations. Here, he is also asking a judge, foe the dismissal of the lawsuit filed against him. Travis will reportedly be doing this for the hundreds of other Astroworld lawsuits against him, as well.

Travis has other huge lawsuits against him as well, as one is seeking $2 billion, in damages. Another is looking for $750 million.
