This morning, Travis McMichael resumed his time on the stand. He is currently on trial for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Angering millions, McMichaels admitted Arbery wasn’t a threat.
Ahmaud Arbery was out jogging, one spring 2020 morning, and wound up dead. Three neighborhood men, Travis McMichael included, ended up surrounding him. In the end, a bullet took Arbery’s life.
Travis McMichael took the stand, this morning, and he was asked about the final moments of Ahmaud Arbery’s life. In a series of questions, he admitted Arbery wasn’t a threat. He ultimately said Arbery was simply jogging in the neighborhood.
