G.O.O.D. Music lost a team member in Kid Cudi, but the overall crew has been on a roll for some time. Their run started long before the promotion and release of Cruel Summer last year. Once Big Sean was unleashed on the game and Pusha T emerged, Kanye West had something special on his hands.
A lot of attention went to the headliners of the label and 2 Chainz, the honorary member of the crew. But, the other members of the crew only played a minor role on their album and in the case of Q-Tip, no role at all. While Travi$ Scott was backburnered, he is ready for his own run in the spotlight now.
Travi$ Scott recently paid a visit to London where he talked to DJ Semtex about some of his upcoming work. Announced last fall, Travi$ Scott is working on his upcoming EP, which he calls Owl Pharaoh. During the interview, Travi$ Scott also talked about Kid Cudi’s departure from G.O.O.D. Music.
