Last year, T.I. righted a lot of his wrongs when he began working on his comeback album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head. Along with the work on the album, T.I. decided to sign some additional artists to Grand Hustle Records. Trae Tha Truth was one of the artists who signed to the label.
Trae Tha Truth has remained one of the hottest rappers on the Texas hip hop scene for some time. He has worked with many of the biggest rappers in the game, already, and now he is preparing his latest project, I Am King. This work has taken place as T.I. was working on getting a new deal for Grand Hustle Records.
Setting up shop with Columbia Records, Trae Tha Truth continued making his media rounds while T.I. made the deal. He sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God at Power 105.1 for “The Breakfast Club.” There, he discussed his new project, Hustle Gang, and much more.
