Trae Tha Truth is making a difference. The past two weeks have been very shocking ones, in the US. Ten Black shoppers were shot and killed at a supermarket in Buffalo. An eighteen year old white supremacist. specifically targeted Black customers. On Tuesday, in Uvalde, TX, nineteen children were shot and killed at Robb Elementary School, as well as two adults, by an 18-year-old gunman.

Trae Tha Truth has been one of the most legendary rappers to come out of Houston. In addition to rapping, Trae Tha Truth is always giving back to various communities. On Wednesday, Trae revealed that he was also invited to go to the White House. Trae was invited to meet with families who have lost loved ones, to police violence. Trae ended up deciding to stick with his trip to Buffalo instead, as he hosted a community food giveaway.

“I was invited to the White House today to meet with the president with the families of those who have been wrongfully murdered by police. But the people of Buffalo, N.Y. are really in need as well as the families of the children murdered in Uvalde. So I will have to pass. I will be in the field with the people in need.”
