Tory Lanez has been giving back to local communities frequently, in 2021. He started his own alkaline water, and distributed to people in need in the aftermath of winter storms, in Texas and Louisiana. The Toronto rapper was also seen bringing families cases of this water.
Now, Tory’s good deeds continue, this time, in California. According to TMZ, he’s donated $50,000, to Unite The People Inc. This is to assist families in helping bail out loved ones from jail. 50 families will receive these funds, and will go towards legal fees, that will help those loved ones post bail.
Tory has reportedly been working with Unite The People Inc for two years now. The people he’s assisting are in the middle of criminal and post-conviction sentences. They are also said to have been “disproportionately sentenced,” due to “racial or financial inequalities.”
Tory has been very consistent with his music lately as well, as he’s released four projects in the past year and a half. His last project was the R&B album, “Playboy,” in the spring.
