Tory Lanez last released his ‘Loner‘ album in late November which contained 10 tracks and appearances from Swae Lee, Lil Wayne, Melii, and more. This project served as his “rap capsule” of the many albums he has on the way. In February, he is expected to put out his R&B capsule but the title still hasn’t been revealed yet nor the official release date.
The Toronto rapper has another huge record on the way though as he has Chris Brown featured on it. He took to Instagram today to show the two taking a photo together.
“Me & Bro @chrisbrownofficial GOT A CRAZY ONE ☝️ 🔥🍾☔️ #Feels SONG + VISUALS on the Way !!!🔥🔥 … #2021OneUmbrella WE NOT PLAYING FAIR☔️☂️”
Lanez and Brown have collaborated in the past as well, most recently on Lanez’s “The Take” song from 2019’s ‘Chixtape 5‘ mixtape. Brown was also on Lanez’s “Flexible” song which also included Lil Baby from the 2018 ‘Love Me Now?‘ album.
Lanez is also scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on February 25 in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. This is for felony assault, which he plead not guilty to in mid-November and has maintained his innocence on several occasions, which includes on his ‘Daystar‘ album last fall.
