Toronto Raptors’ logo was mistakenly replaced by the Houston Rockets’ “R” logo, during Game 2 of the #NBAFinals broadcast [PHOTO]

Through its history, the Toronto Raptors have always been an overlooked franchise. Aside from the Vince Carter era, the Raptors were never truly relevant. Before the Chris Bosh era could truly begin, he bolted for Miami.

It wasn’t until DeMar DeRozan took over, and Kyle Lowry joined, that the Raptors began making noise. They proved to be the foil to a returned LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers, during their four year run, but that led to DeRozan’s demise. Looking to win, he was traded.

The lone Kawhi Leonard season has led the Raptors to a dominating playoff run. Knocking out the Magic, Kawhi made a historic game-winning Game 7 shot to end the 76ers, and then came back from 0-2 to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks. Against the Warriors, Kawhi led the Raptors to a solid Game 1 win.

In Game 2, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson put on a clinic to dominate the Raptors. The Warriors held on for a close win, with the Raptors having the momentum. But, one fan noticed that the Raptors, for all of their recent success, are still being overlooked, as the NBA coverage managed to have the Houston Rockets’ “R” logo in the place of the Raptors’, an honest mistake, but nevertheless a tribute to Toronto’s NBA history.
