When 50 Cent talked to Hot 97, yesterday morning, he had a lot to talk about and this included G-Unit. There is a lot of back and forth going on with 50 Cent and Tony Yayo, but when he spoke to Hot 97, 50 said they were still on good terms. But, 50 did also mention that he thinks he spoiled the team.
Until recently, most would have said Tony Yayo is the closest person to 50 Cent, something he often said. As recently as 2009, 50 Cent said he would dump every member in G-Unit, but Tony Yayo would remain. Recent moves, such as linking up with Young Buck and speaking out, may cause this to shift.
Tony Yayo definitely tuned into the interview and he was not pleased with how he was being discussed by 50 Cent. This morning, Tony Yayo fought back and had some words of his own for 50 Cent that he wants the world to know about. The rise of G-Unit was a team effort and Tony Yayo played his part, as he told Twitter this morning.
