This year, Tinashe blew up on the music front, following a successful career as an actress. A few years ago, Tinashe had a recurring role on CBS’ long-running hit sitcom, “Two and A Half Men.” Obviously, Tinashe moved on to bigger and better things since then.
Early this year, Tinashe dropped “2 On,” featuring ScHoolboy Q, and the song has become the song of the summer. All of this has made Tinashe a breakout star, as she had big performances at both BET and Hot 97. The future is bright for Tinashe, with her debut album in the works.
Tinashe recently talked to Complex about her history in the industry. Before the music, she was an actress and she did a few well-known programs. She reflected on this and also the success of the “2 On” single, which has become the biggest hit of the summer.
