Four years ago, Tinashe dropped “2 On” and this song, which boasts a feature from ScHoolboy Q, was a major summer anthem. The summer of 2014 was a bizarre one. There were many bubbling under stars, including Tinashe and ScHoolboy Q, that scored major hits.
At the same time, the usual stars, Rihanna, Drake, etc., weren’t as visible as they normally are. Ironically, in the case of Tinashe, she hasn’t come close to the same kind of success. This comes in spite of a second album that boasted a Chris Brown feature.
Tinashe is hoping the third time’s the charm, as she is rolling her third album out. With that, she has her single, “No Drama,” featuring Offset, which is a good song. Unfortunately, it looks like the people aren’t feeling this record, as it’s only at 130 on the iTunes charts.
