Timbaland confirms Nelly – Ludacris Verzuz is happening on IG Live
These Instagram Live Verzuz sessions have been highly entertaining. With the world shut down, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there’s been nothing to do. So, the fans have watched Teddy Riley and Babyface, Lil Jon and T-Pain, and Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, last Saturday.
On Instagram Live, Swizz Beatz spoke to Timbaland about a possible Nelly / Ludacris Verzuz matchup. Timbaland was excited that he was asked this, as he replied “We can get that.” The Verzuz battle will take place on May 16. As many know, Nelly and Ludacris were two of the biggest artists of the 2000s and delivered countless hits, at the turn of the millennium. Some of the memorable albums by Luda are Word Of Mouf, The Red Light District, and Chicken-n-Beer. For Nelly, fans can expect to get nostalgia from projects such as Country Grammar, Nellyville, Sweat, and Suit.
Fans on Twitter, so far, have Ludacris has the favorite but Nelly can’t be counted out. Both artists put in a lot of work. Don’t be surprised to see this Instagram Live break 6ix9ine’s viewer record of 2 million, either.
