The Weeknd has had a huge 2020 for himself. He built momentum to start the new year at the end of 2019 when he released two hit singles in “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights.” Both records ended up being No. 1 songs in the US.
Heartless and Blinding Lights went on to appear on The Weeknd’s fourth studio album, ‘After Hours,’ this March. This also became another No.1 album on the Billboard 200 chart for the Canadian superstar.
Blinding Lights is still the hottest record from After Hours as now, it has reached the 6x platinum mark by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 6 million units.
