Over the past year, The Weeknd has continued to be one of the biggest artists in the world. Some of the accolades since the end of 2019 include a No. two No. 1 singles in “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights.” The Toronto native also scored a No. 1 album in March 2020 with “After Hours.”
Another huge hit from After Hours was “Save Your Tears.” Earlier this week, Weeknd hinted at having Ariana Grande on the remix. This is after posting a tweet where she was tagged in it and some of the instrumental was played. Now, this collaboration is in fact happening.
Today on Weeknd’s Twitter feed, he confirmed that the Save Your Tears remix featuring Ariana will arrive on Friday. The two have collaborated in the past on Ariana’s “Love Me Harder” and “Off The Table” songs. Now, fans are even more excited as they can’t wait to hear two of the biggest artists in the industry get together again.
The original version for Save Your Tears peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is also certified platinum in the US.
