Outside of the Vince Carter era, the Toronto Raptors were the forgotten team of the NBA in most seasons. Truth is, the team sucked and their name/logo only made things worse. When Chris Bosh left, it seemed like it was all over for the Raptors.
Six years later, it may have been the best thing to happen to the team, because they built a solid core. Demar DeRozan was already there and had that star potential. Now, he is playing right up there with all of the top players in the league and the Raptors are contenders now.
The past few years have seen the Toronto Raptors become used to winning. Tonight, though, the Raptors took one big loss, even though they won in overtime against Denver. Their social media guy’s auto-corrected mucked him up in the worst possible time with a hilarious typo and an even funnier save.
