Very likely there is no rapper in the game who releases albums as frequently as Curren$y, who has released as many as three albums in one year. For 2012, so far, the New Orleans “spitta” has only released one album. Curren$y released his eighth studio album, The Stoned Immaculate, a week ago.

In a week since the album has been released, The Stoned Immaculate has been met with mild to positive reviews. Curren$y is credited for his witty lyrics and his ability to gain numerous collaborations. Though he is not as popular as many other emcees, there is a lot of respect for Curren$y.

Fans are beginning to catch up when it comes to the former Young Money rapper. It was earlier today when the first week sales for the album were delivered. In seven days, Curren$y’s album has sold 38,972 copies. The sales of Curren$y’s album were only 28 from 39,000 and close to 40,000.
