THE GOLDEN G.O.A.T. : R&B King Eric Bellinger Celebrates His Gold Record For G.O.A.T. 2.0

Shawty bad, slim, thick/ She my drug, she my fix / And I’m all up in her mix/ She be mixin’ with the wrist/ She the plug, she finesse/ She the one they call the GOAT/ She don’t stress/ She don’t trip and she f*** with all my bros…

With this hook, Grammy-award-winner Eric Bellinger and Maybach Music’s Wale made the track that quickly became a fan-favorite, and now “G.O.A.T. 2.0” has been officially certified GOLD. News of the achievement came as Bellinger and Compton rapper AD adopted aliases “Poncho Belly” and “Dizzle” while releasing their new collab album NINE. The duo have been seen in character lately popping up at Calle Tacos in Hollywood and in the “Pullin Up” video taking some baddies for a ride in their taco truck. But when the gold record for “G.O.A.T. 2.0” was announced, it was time for a different kind of party. (See photos below courtesy of Hennessy.)

This week Katrina Jo of Hennessy held a VSOP Privilege Toast for Bellinger and a hand-picked few from his squad inside the swanky Roosevelt Library Bar in Los Angeles. Eric Bellinger’s wife La’Miyah Good and the pet goats that have become famous for their yoga skills joined the celebration, and the energy in the room made it undeniable that this new win is just the beginning. Last month Bellinger brought fans along on two yoga and meditation experiences after sharing his Meditation Music project with the world, and after flexing that spiritual side he still found time to cut up in a poncho with long-time collaborator AD. Bellinger’s creativity is unstoppable and there’s no doubt each new project will bring something unpredictable. Keep up with all the action here —> @EricBellinger
