Yesterday, NBA Youngboy was arrested by LAPD and placed in federal custody by the FBI. This is after it was found that the Louisiana rapper had an outstanding federal warrant on his record. He attempted to flee the scene by foot after pulling over but was soon apprehended after a K-9 dog was able to track him now.
Now, more details are surfacing regarding by Youngboy had a warrant and was wanted by the FBI for it. According to TMZ, documents state that prosecutors wanted Youngboy in custody for two guns found during his arrest in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA last September. Drugs were also found at the time of the arrest.
The firearms that Youngboy reportedly had then were a .45 pistol and a 9mm handgun. This is a violation for a previous arrest of felony aggravated assault. Other weapons were found last fall as well as over 15 people were arrested at a video shoot that Youngboy was having. The 9mm is said to not have been registered in Youngboy’s name.
Youngboy has since been charged with illegal possession of firearms by a felon and possession of an unregistered weapon. He is also still in FBI custody as it doesn’t seem that he will be freed anytime soon.
