The Cavs are used to bullying their way through the NBA East. In 2014, the Cavs got blessings on top of blessings, landing the first overall pick, in the draft. This pick allowed for Cleveland to trade for Kevin Love, sending Andrew Wiggins to the Timberwolves.
Trading their top pick made sense, when LeBron James agreed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Drafted there, in 2010, LeBron left, and won two titles with the Miami Heat. Teamed with Kyrie Irving, in addition to Kevin Love, the 2015 Cavs struggled, as the Atlanta Hawks surged.
When the playoffs came, the Cavs embarrassed the Hawks, but lost to the Warriors. Since then, that’s been the NBA’s top rivalry, as the Finals are always Cavs vs. Warriors. But, Cleveland traded Kyrie Irving to the Celtics, for Isaiah Thomas, and have struggled since, and with Houston blowing the Cavs out, fans say they’re done.
