Terrence J solidifies himself as a force in the media industry with new deal with VH1 and MTV

Seeing where Terrence J came from, especially for other Eastern NC natives, is so inspiring. An up-and-coming radio host, here in North Carolina, Terrence J put in for “106 & Park” and made it. From 2006 until 2012, he was the host of the show.

Terrence J left “106 & Park,” in 2012, to become a host on E! News, before departing there in 2015 to start his own company. In early 2016, the rising mogul delivered his first product in The Perfect Match, where he starred opposite Cassie. It turns out, it was just the beginning.

Yesterday, news broke of Terrence J striking a major deal with Viacom for the MTV and VH1 networks. He has a deal where he can create content for both networks, similar to what Sway has going on. This move solidifies the journey Terrence J began, back in 2015, and makes him a real force in the industry.
