Yesterday, Tekashi 6ix9ine was rumored to be released from prison at 5pm due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That deadline passed as Judge Engelmayer didn’t make his decision yet.

24 hours later, 6ix9ine is officially out of prison, according to the Inner City Press. He’s been ordered to he released by Judge Engelmayer. He will serve the rest of his incarceration on house arrest and will have a GPS monitor on him.

6ix9ine was originally sentenced to two years in prison in December on racketeering charges and crimes committed with the Nine Trey Bloods in New York City. He snitched on them in court in September but that didn’t help him much. Luckily for him though, he was sentenced to a year in prison and given credit for time served. He was initially taken into custody in November of 2018.
