When people think of North Carolina hip hop, Tef Kaluminoti is a name they should know. On the local level, he is a legend, and he’s making big moves. In recent years, he has taken a small step back from the music, expanding into creating movies, and developing artists.
Tef Kaluminoti has focused a lot of his focus on the up-and-coming rapper, Jimmy Black (The Journeyman). This focus is paying off, in a big way. Earlier this year, Jimmy Black dropped his single, “Blue Cheese,” which features Tef, along with Craz and Manny Maddog.
Recently, Tef Kaluminoti shared some good news with his followers. Jimmy Black (The Journeyman) is officially the hottest independent rapper in the game. His hit single, “Blue Cheese,” featuring Tef, Craz, and Manny Maddog is the number one independent song, in the nation, and the sixty-seventh song, on the overall 200 charts.
