Artists should look no farther than Tech N9ne when they are looking into being successful without a major label deal. A lot of credit goes to Jay-Z and Master P as self-made hip hop moguls, but Tech N9ne has remained independent after many major collaborations. Tech N9ne is currently working on his new album.
Something Else is the first new album from Tech N9ne in two years. In 2011, Tech N9ne released two albums and decided to take time off. During his time off, Tech N9ne focused on the development of his Strange Music label. The label is now firing on all cylinders and it is the perfect time for Tech N9ne to return.
Tech N9ne is currently on tour and Bootleg Kev met up with him backstage. Bootleg Kev and Tech N9ne conducted an interview where he talked about his upcoming album. The conversation centered around the collaborations on Something Else. Cee-Lo and The Doors are among the people who will appear on the album.
