The past few years have seen Reason become a pretty big name, a standout for the TDE roster. Of course, the label is headlined by Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock. However, Reason more consistently releases music.
Reason released his debut album, New Beginnings, last week, following his extensive mixtape career. With his mixtapes, Reason built quite the name for himself. He has had several mixtape tracks become singles, that were met with much fanfare.
Recently, Reason did an interview with Hot 97, speaking to Peter Rosenberg. The interview saw him speak about signing with TDE, along with the New Beginnings album. Reason also spoke on his relationship with Jay Rock and how he’s learned from him.
