This summer, Tay-K may have very well proven to be the most-controversial rapper to rise, in history. Being tied to Capital Murder is a first for hip hop and that’s not a good thing, make no mistake. What he was into makes NWA look like altar boys.
Tay-K, though, is the most-successful 17-year-old in the rap game. He delivered “The Race,” this summer, out of nowhere and the song has caught on like lighter fluid. In the few months it’s been out, “The Race” video is at 70 million streams.
Even with “The Race” cooling off, as other songs are rising to popularity, it is performing well. The song is getting 600,000 daily plays on YouTube. This is an incredible feat, as the bidding war is becoming real for this young man.
