Coming into 2018, Tank has completed his transition into being an actor/TV personality. However, the crazy thing about it is how he actually scored the biggest hit of his music career, beforehand. His single, “When We,” is showing up everywhere.

Tank is proving that traditional R&B still has a place in the current music industry. Similar to how there was only one female rapper, making big moves for years, R&B was hamstrung. During this era, Chris Brown has been the only one making hits.

But, Tank is hitting people, weekly, via BET’s “ManCave.” During a recent episode, they addressed Thaddeus Matthews, who is also known as “The Cussin’ Pastor.” The show led to Matthews speaking out, and a bizarre social media beef between him and Tank.
