Migos are expected to release the third installment of their ‘Culture‘ album series sometime this year but they just hit another roadblock. After suing their lawyer for allegedly cheating them out of millions of dollars over the years, member Takeoff is also in some serious legal woes.

According to TMZ, Takeoff is being sued by a woman for raping her at a party in Los Angeles on June 23. The woman is has filed a lawsuit listed as Jane Doe as she revealed that the Atlanta rapper made her very uncomfortable at the party. He also offered her marijuana but she turned that down.

The woman ended up going upstairs with the man who invited her to the party and that upset Takeoff heavily. He got into an argument with the man while the woman waited in the bedroom. Soon after that, Takeoff went into the room and started feeling on her buttocks as she was turned face-down. He then forcefully took her clothes off and raped her.

The woman ended up going to a nearby hospital where evidence of forceful rape was observed. In the lawsuit, she is suing Takeoff for sexual battery, assault, emotional distress, and damages. West Coast Trial Lawyers has since released a statement to The Blast.

“Our client is in shock and fears retaliation from speaking out,” says her lawyer Neama Rahmani of West Coast Trial Lawyers. “We don’t yet know all the facts nor who might have witnessed events that evening. We hope this lawsuit will prompt the police to quickly move forward and that through discovery we can uncover more evidence of what happened that night.”
