T-Pain talks the birth of autotune, Cash Money debts, new music, and more on #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Twelve years ago, T-Pain debuted with Rapper Turnt Singer and immediately took the game over. Delivering nothing but chart-topping hits, T-Pain rose to the top in 2006. From 2006 through 2008, T-Pain was the driving force in hip hop.

T-Pain, however, seemingly disappeared by 2009, following a string of three consecutive albums released. In 2011, T-Pain made a strong return, and it felt just like the old days. The run was short-lived and then he returned with “Up, Down,” featuring B.o.B.

Recently, T-Pain stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He talked about the origins of his auto-tune sounds. While there, he also talked about his situation with YMCMB, his new music, Tallahassee, and much more.
