The world has missed Justin Timberlake for some time. Seven years ago, Justin Timberlake released his sophomore album, Future Sex/Love Sounds. On his second album, it became clear that Justin Timberlake was reaching for the stars. Starting with the “Sexy Back” lead single and the “My Love” follow-up single, with T.I., Justin Timberlake was back and better than ever.
Justin Timberlake promoted his album throughout 2006 and 2007, but did not return with a new album. Instead, Justin Timberlake focused on business ventures, purchasing the legendary label, Stax Records, and then MySpace. Outside of business, Justin Timberlake’s primary focus was acting, but he recently returned with his “Suit & Tie” single with Jay-Z.
Earlier this week, Justin Timberlake released the official lyric video for “Suit & Tie,” announcing his new album The 20/20 Experience. An honorary hip hop member, Justin Timberlake teams up with the biggest rappers for his songs. Seeing the chemistry Timberlake had with T.I., MTV News caught up with T.I. and asked him about his input on the next album and he confirmed they have been working.
