Last night, T.I. was the focus of BET’s second week of “Inside The Label,” as they chronicled Grand Hustle Records. If T.I. didn’t show the world anything else, he shows that is all comes from hard work. Pairing the hard work with brains paid off in a major way for T.I.
A decade after King, T.I. is going strong, but he’s seen more on VH1, once a week, as opposed to the MTV video shows. That’s progression and he’ll soon be on the History Channel. T.I. is playing a key role in the remake of Roots, the Alex Haley classic.
T.I. stopped by “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45, to talk to Sway. He would discuss the Roots remake and talk a little about ancestry, before discussing his partnership with Jay Z for TIDAL, explaining why he joined with him. During the interview, T.I. also spoke on working with Dr. Dre and his residency in Las Vegas.
