T.I. talks Connecticut shooting and gun control laws with “Sway in the Morning” [VIDEO]

On Friday, some of the worst news in American history was reported when the world learned twenty elementary school children died. Taking place right before Christmas, parents buying presents in anticipation of surprising their children were forced to instead purchase coffins for their young. No parent should ever have to bury their child, but several in Connecticut did thanks to Adam Lanza.

Shocked and saddened, the world watched as the death toll rose in Newtown, CT. No matter how vicious the lyrics are and the rap game is, no rapper has ever targeted children. As stated by Jus Daze, there are unwritten rules that prohibit the targeting of children, even in the toughest ghettos. With a heavy heart, T.I. discussed this when he appeared on “Sway in the Morning.”

T.I. spent the bulk of 2009 in prison over his possession of illegal firearms. However, he purchased those weapons after his friend was murdered and out of protection for himself and his family. Still, T.I. spoke on the deranged Adam Lanza viciously murdering dozens of children and his take on the gun control laws when he stopped by to visit with Sway at Shade 45.
