T.I. Takes To Social Media To Salute Both Jay Z And Colin Kaepernick In Their Contributions To Social Justice Reform Instead Of Using Them To Divide People Like Others Are Doing [VIDEO]

It’s been over two weeks since Jay Z signed a business partnership deal between his Roc Nation deal and the NFL. He finally gets a seat at the table to bring good entertainment events to the league along with stressing the importance of social justice issues in America. Many disapproved of Hov’s move due to the fact that the NFL is still blackballing Colin Kaepernick out of a job after he knelt during the national anthem to protest racism and police brutality in America.

T.I. has been a huge advocate of social justice reform over these past five years as he’s spoken on numerous issues such as cops who’ve killed black people for no reason such as Sandra Bland and Michael Brown. He even called for a boycott of the restaurant Houston’s in Atlanta due to their treatment of black customers.

The King of the South is now speaking on Jay Z and Kaepernick. He posted the full video of Jay speaking with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after the partnership announcement in which Jay mentioned what he’s done when it comes to social justice reform. Tip said that what he hates the most is that “the oppressor takes advantage of opportunities like these to divide us and continue on with their operations as usual all to often.” He added that he believes in what Kaepernick represents and and feels the same way about Jay so he doesn’t need to turn on either one of them.

T.I. is 100% right on. Among the things that need to be saluted about Jay Z when it comes to social justice reform are his efforts in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria in 2017, bailing out Ferguson and Baltimore protestors in the wake of the police murders of Michael Brown and Freddie Gray, and bailing out fathers on Father’s Day. Kaepernick also used his platform to address bigotry in our country and is doing big things in the community now with his Know Your Rights Camp.

Check out T.I.’s post backing up both Jay Z and Colin Kaepernick below.
