Disappointment is a fact of life and it is a fact learned early. The older people get, it is the people who let them down that make the disappointment hurt the most. In the case of the urban community and the rioting going on, the hurt comes from being let down by the government and officials.
Michael Brown is one of the many victims who were either murdered or assaulted by an authority figure. But, his killing is one that has united the entire hip hop world behind one cause. Despite people saying not to, however, rioting is going on throughout Ferguson and surrounding areas.
Two wrongs don’t make a right and the rioting/looting isn’t helping anything. T.I. is an influential figure in hip hop, so he decided to give his opinion on the situation via his Instagram. He left a heartfelt message and he placed the blame on the entire situation solely on America.
