Perfection was the name of the game when T.I. began recording his eighth studio album, Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. T.I. reached new heights four years prior, when it all came crashing down. Awaiting the verdict for his gun charge, T.I. was sentenced to one year in prison.
Released late in 2009, T.I. was supposed to make his strong comeback in 2010, but came out flat. When his album was set to be released, T.I. disappointed fans when he was caught with drugs during his Los Angeles trip. In 2011, T.I. came out of prison and returned with new energy.
Going through a number of release dates and time frames, T.I. finally settled upon a December 18 release date for Trouble Man. With his eighth studio album due for release next week, T.I. is already working on album number nine. In the meantime, T.I. released a commercial for Heavy is the Head.
