During the 2016 political season, T.I. made a major change in his message and his career. Because of the rhetoric of Donald Trump, plus the continued cop killings, T.I. became more socially aware in his music. Some didn’t like the change, but T.I. is a powerful voice.
While Donald Trump is making inroads with the black community, not everyone is convinced. Steve Harvey came away from his meeting with the incoming president highly impressed. However, D.L. Hughley wasn’t convinced and let it be known he’s still team #FDT.
After watching all of this transpire, T.I. now falls on Hughley’s side of the spectrum. Seeing everything play out, T.I. put a video out where he blasted Harvey, Kanye West, and Ray Lewis. He also put out an open letter for Donald Trump.
