Lil Wayne started a trend when he signed Drake and Nicki Minaj to Young Money. The two hit the ground running and took the game over. It may never be said, but Young Money inspired Rick Ross to sign Wale and Meek Mill to Maybach Music. T.I. went on a signing frenzy in 2012, adding Trae Tha Truth, Iggy Azalea, and others to the label.

T.I. finally released his Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head album and B.o.B. released his sophomore album, Strange Clouds. Meanwhile, the rest of the label released their mixtapes and EPs. But, T.I. has bigger plans for Grand Hustle Records in 2013, which includes the $75 million deal being sought out.

Both T.I. and Trae Tha Truth headed out West and talked to DJ Skee at his Skee Lodge. Speaking with both Grand Hustle members, DJ Skee talked to T.I. about his plans for Grand Hustle Records this year. DJ Skee would talk to Trae Tha Truth about his Grand Hustle Records debut, which has yet to be scheduled. T.I. has plans of keeping the momentum going in 2013, while Trae Tha Truth plans to drop singles throughout the year to see which one sticks.
