Since Kendrick Lamar emerged, TDE has had all kinds of success. His album and Dr. Dre alliance, allowed TDE to land a joint venture deal with Interscope Records. Then, ScHoolboy Q released his major label debut to much success.
After years of playing the background, SZA officially released her debut album. The new album is called CTRL and it is loaded with features, two of which come from TDE. Before the album, SZA made her rounds with the media in promotion of the album.
SZA spoke with J Cruz over at Power 106 for “The Cruz Show” about the new album. She talked about the inspiration and the themes of her new offering. The album is available for streaming in certain markets, available to all in 30 minutes.
