The hip hop world is still reeling from DMX’s death. Those close to him are finding solace in the life X lived. Few people were closer to DMX than Swizz Beatz, who produced many of X’s classic hits.
Swizz Beatz is a legend, in his own right, as a producer, rapper, and businessman. With Timbaland, he created Verzuz, during the pandemic. This platform allowed for the longstanding Jeezy/Gucci Mane beef to end.
Last week, Swizz Beatz called into Angie Martinez’s show, on Power 105.1. Their conversation saw them touch on DMX’s life and death, along with his new album. Regarding the album, Swizz called it a “masterpiece,” before discussing cryptocurrency, and speaking on Verzuz’s deal with Triller.
